# Mobile Sign-In via QR Code

**On your desktop:**

1. Open the [Omni app](https://omni.variational.io/) and ensure you are signed in.
2. Click the **"Link Mobile Device"** icon in the top right corner.

**On your mobile device:**

3. Open the [Omni app](https://omni.variational.io/) and click **"Connect Wallet,"** then **"Link Desktop Wallet."**
4. You will see a **6-digit 2FA code**. Allow camera access on your mobile device if prompted.

**On your desktop:**

5. Enter the 2FA code from your mobile device into the **"Code"** field on your desktop and sign the on-chain message to verify the connection.
6. Read the warning thoroughly. If you understand and accept the risks, click and hold on the **"Click & Hold to Show QR Code"** button.

**On your mobile device:**

7. Scan the QR code displayed on your desktop screen with your mobile device.
8. Once verified, your mobile session is linked to your desktop session. You can now access your portfolio and trade on Omni from your mobile device.

#### Notes:

* Your mobile session inherits the authentication of your desktop session. You do not need to connect a wallet separately on mobile.
* If your desktop session expires or you sign out on desktop, you will need to re-link your mobile device by repeating the steps above.
